| Shurikan stretches, flexing his muscles under the warm morning sun. He lets out a yawn and looks across the lake. "It sure does seem like a normal lake. Besides its size however." He says reassuringly to himself. "But, In case that old angler is right I will be sure to bring these also!" He growls lugging two large harpoons onto his ship. "Most lakes are not this massive I suppose, It would make sense that this one could hold such large sea beast." Shurikan prepares his vessel to sail recalling the old man's tales of legendary lake monsters. As he is doing so he spots a figure running toward his boat from the shore... | |

| I was taking my daily stroll when I came upon an unusually large lake that I had not encountered on my travels before. "Hmm... I wonder what secrets this lake hides beneath its surface. We'll just have to see." I said, taking in a massive amount of air, and dove beneath the surface to explore the clear dark depths of this body of water. | |

| Shurikan sets sail, his vessel slowly moving out across the lake. He climbs the mast and sits in the crows nest enjoying the view. As soon as I get out to the middle I will begin to fish! | |

| It seemed between the time I dove beneath the surface and now, another entity, whose identity was currently unknown to me, had arrived and was preparing to do some fishing. (Wait a minute, how am I able to breathe underwater for so long? Crap!) I thought, barreling towards the surface. When I got there, I inhaled so much air that I created a whirlpool around my location. Luckily, nothing was in the way because I was so far out, and therefore could not be seen. "Oy... that was close, better use a water breathing spell so that doesn't happen again." I said, coating the inside of my lungs with a device that defused O2 from inhaled water and dispersed the water out again, then resumed my search. (I wonder who that other being could be, and I wonder if I'll ever find anything of worth down here or not?) | |

| "A whirlpool!" Shurikan yells glancing across the lake. Soon after saying it the whirlpool died down. "That is very strange, usually they do not go away that fast." Shurikan turns the wheel of the ship and heads towards the now calm water in hopes of finding out what secrets it holds. | |

| I continued to search for a solid two hours, but found nothing but some lures. I also found trinkets that I could sell for pocket change. (I think I'll try my hand fishing.) I thought, resurfacing again. Upon climbing the bank, I sat down, readied a pole, and threw it in the water. Leaning back on the bank, I contemplated the meaning of life and how my goal was getting closer to being achieved. (Wonder if that other being will show their face sometime so I can greet them.) | |

| Flying around on a gorgeous day like this reminds me of when I first came to this lake. I saw two people when I made a quick fly over, so I decided to drop by and say hi. I floated down to the boat I saw and stood on top of its sunroof. This man driving the ship was about my age and seemed well experienced in the art of fishing. "Hello!" I called to him, hoping for some kind of response. | |

| Around noon, I still had not gotten a single bite. I was about to just lie back and fall asleep until I heard a familiar noise. I opened up one eye to find a friend out on the roof of a stranger's boat. (Heh... that's just like you Asami. Always making new friends wherever you go.) I laughed with a smile on my face. I then decided to resume my efforts in fishing. | |

| After two more hours of fishing, I noticed a glint in the lake. (Could that be?) I wondered, reeling in my line and diving down to what I saw. Sure enough, a gem was placed down there. (I wonder if I should take it.) | |

| After retrieving the new-found crystal from its position, I returned to the surface. Immediately after the crystal was exposed to air, it turned dark red, like the color of blood. "I wonder what it does?" I said aloud, and returned to where I could read the scroll I received from a friend a while back. (So that's it then hmm? That means I've just found my third artifact.) "Excellent." I shouted. [Exit with artifact] | |
