Good Day To You Ma'am! [October]

Otonashi, as the explorer he currently is, decides to travel to the Hybrid Grounds, next. He had just recently stayed over at the Laguz Grounds with Lethe, and was inspired to see more of Gallia. Otonashi notices vendors in the village as he wanders through it. "Excuse me, sir. Do you have cherry coke?" He asks.

I wondered about the stalls, wondering if there was anything yummy to eat. Suddenly I saw a man yelling in the middle of the crowd. I quickly step forward, grab his arm and pull him away from the crowd. "Are you a fucking idiot?" I hiss at him.

Otonashi manages to grab a can of cherry coke before he is pulled away. This lady seemed quite fearsome, and so Otonashi immediately activated Altering Reality: a spell that cannot be seen by the naked eye. "All I did was order a drink." Otonashi confessed, "I'm not worthy of your names, ma'am!" Otonashi grew angry and distanced himself from the lady. He needed to buy some pasta, too- or at least something to eat.

I run after him. "Fucktard!" I yell, "Are you trying to get yourself killed? This is not the place for foreigners!"

"Foreigners?" Otonashi questions with a dark grin. He turns to the woman who had caught him, yet again. "Watch your mouth. Maybe if you actually got to know a little about me, you wouldn't be so harsh." Otonashi pouts, grabbing a box of pasta that a vendor left for him, and beginning to walk more into the village.

I stick my tongue out at the man, but follow him anyway. "You're an idiot," I say, liking a lollipop I snagged from an unsuspecting vendor.

"Again I say, watch your language!" Otonashi yells. He was ticked that such a bad-mouthed lady was following him. In fact, he even wanted to mention it. He turned to the girl and asked "Have you even made friends with words like that? My family would kill me with a mouth like yours." Otonashi was so upset now. Maybe he shouldn't have admitted his feelings. "You've angered me." He added, trying to get out of the lady's sight.

I scowl but still follow Oto. After following for a while, I throw my lollipop at the back of his head. "You're a bastard!" I scream, then turn and stalk off down an alleyway.

After being insulted too many times, the soul in Otonashi's eyes disappears. He draws one of his swords, and points it at the girl's throat. He removes the lollipop from his head and throws it at her face, as well. "Shut it, and go waste somebody else's time, brat." Otonashi comments, "Before I kill you, at least. A man such as I ought to teach someone as low as you how to act." Otonashi's emotionless form tends to get carried away, but still leaves the lady in a life-threatening position. "I don't count, by the way."

I scowl and dodge the lollipop, then turn and run through the backways with unnatural speed. I knew the area well, and knew where the ladder to the rooftops would be. I climbed up and continued my retreat along the rooftops. Arrogant Fuck! I think, then remember my lollipop. What a waste...

"Insult me one more time...I dare you..." Otonashi commands, his tone possessing no enthusiasm, and his whole body expressing no emotion. Otonashi was in a temporal state of hatred. Reverse activated, which allowed Otonashi to travel at the same speed as the woman trying to curse him. Otonashi dashes to her in hopes of making her scream.

I squeak a little as I pick up my pace. At one point, I turn and leap onto a vendor's cart, then the ground. I re-enter the maze of alleys, hoping the turns will help. What the heck?! I didn't do anything wrong!

Otonashi swiftly follows the lady into the maze, and begins catching up to her rapidly. "Loss for words, huh?" Otonashi confirms just behind the woman, "Eternal damnation is where you're headed. I hope you can get that trash out of your mouth, for it highly degrades your overall appearance." With this, Otonashi runs to a recreation center in the village.

I run all the way to my cubbyhole in the heart of the labyrinth. Once there, I curl up in a ball and hug the filthy, torn up teddy bear I kept there. Meanie. Doesn't he know that you're not suppose to bully girls?

Otonashi runs until he sees the girl's attempt to hide. He stands near her, and intentionally swings his sword inches in front of her face. This sword was the sword of nullification. "A dirty-mouthed's head would normally be caught in these swings, you know?" Otonashi remarks, "Should you be next?" He was going to be a terror to this lady until her heart was pure again.

I stick my tongue out at him and snuggle my teddy. "Go away, bad person! I was just trying to help you, but noooooo, you got mad!" I pout, glaring at him.

"Help?" Otonashi questions the lady before becoming sane again, "How does insulting a person multiple times help someone?! Huh?!" Otonashi, even sane, was furious with this woman. "Now, come on, get up." Otonashi glared at the lady, the soul in his eyes beginning to reform, "I hate insults. How can you live with them, anyway? You use them inappropriately, too."

I sulk and cling to my bear. "You're mean. I don't wanna help you anymore!" I say, refusing to stand.

"Looks like I've taught you a lesson." Otonashi smiles, "I've proven to you how mean you can be, except in a physical manner. When you insult me, it's like driving swords into my body. You see what you can do to people now?" Otonashi offers a helping hand to the lady. "I'm done pulling off this mean topic. Let's just start everything anew." Otonashi smiles warmly towards this comment, his overall smile improving. "I'm Otonashi, and you are?"

I stick my tongue out at him. "I'm Monochrome October, and I hate you. meanie," I say. I scowl at him. Bipolar Jerk!

"Quite the greeting..." Otonashi laughs, "Come with me. I was gonna get some ice cream for dessert, and I would appreciate some company." As Otonashi walks, he also makes a confession. "I'm not bipolar, by the way. I would tell you the story, but it's rather personal."

I cautiously stand and follow him, still holding the teddy bear. I wouldn't have even considered going if it weren't for the fact that he was offering sweets. For once, I keep quiet.

"So what kinds of things do you do around here, aside from insulting people?" Otonashi asks. He turns after his question, just in time to meet an ice cream shop. "I'll have some white chocolate and vanilla ice cream, please!" Otonashi requests. He turns to the lady again. "What do you want?" He wonders.
