Feather Falling (Open)

I was on the first floor looking at a book of techniques and (like a high pitch noise doesn't necessarily hurt your ears you just notice it) I noticed an excess of magic in the area. I went upstairs to check It out, only to find someone floating horizontally. I act like I'm just looking at books and I ask in a very non-chillant tone "That book your reading must be very good..."

As I flew over the town, I had one thing on my mind, the ingredients for a cure. It then occured to me that the library could hold some answers so I floated down and entered. The atmosphere in the building was different from anything that i had yet encountered. It was silent, like even more silent than when you're trying to evade a murderer quiet. It unerved me, and I wanted to find somebody so I knew I wasn't going insane. I began walking the halls and rooms, but finding nobody, I began to think I was lost, and now stepped into a trap of some sorts. I began running, desperately searching for somebody. After fifteen minutes more, I found a man in strange robes reading a book while standing sideways. As I entered the room, I too found myself walking sideways. It was only after I looked around did I notice another being in the room. Not only that, but this seemed to be the epicenter of all the mystical energies I had been feeling up to that point. I didn't normally like interrupting people while they were in the middle of something, but I decided to make an exception.
I walked towards them both and asked for their names.

I was in the library reading a book causally that had the title.'Cures for disease and wounds'.I notice a rise in magic energy in the library.I followed the trace from where the energy came from and I walk into the room and see two people and one person floating."What the fuck?" I was a little creeped out about the horizontal position he was in but I just let it slide."Hello?"I approach the group with my book in hand as I slowly make my way to them.

I turned around to see a newcomer to the meeting. "Hello laguz, who might you be?"

"Please don't call me a Laguz.My name is Gajeel Volk.Why is their someone floating in the middle of the room?" He scratched his neck and then put his hand in his leather coat and scratched his underarms.

Alright, I wont call you a laguz, Gajeel.
I'm also trying to figure out why there is a person reading horizontally.
Good question.
I did figure out that he's the reason there is amplified magic in the library today though.

I come from Around the corner looking surprised after looking up from an interesting read "Oh hey Masaaki... what brings you to the library today?" I then look at the other "and who might you be?"

Evening Quindaro, I'm here to find information based around a cure I'm working on. This here is Gajeel Volk. I don't know why he's here. Who is this man that stands horizontally?

"I actually don't know I've tried talking to him but he won't speak.... I get the feeling I'd be best to leave him be..." I shrugged and went back to looking at the books on the other side of the shelf.

Hmmm... maybe you're right, he'll talk when he feels like it, now where are those cure books at? I said, returning to why i came to the library in the first place.

I looked down at my book and saw Masaaki needed it more than me. "Here,I had a book about that,you need it more than me anyways." I give Masaaki a friendly smile. "And who might you be?" I extend my hand as if giving a handshake.

Oh shoot, I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I am Masaaki Amaterasu, nice to meet you. Shaking Gajeel's hand. I accepted his book and asked if he was looking for the same thing as me.

"Nice to meet you.Well I was just looking how to improve my healing magic but nothing serious.And who are you? I looked at the second person that was next to Misaaki.

I look up from my book "I'm Quindaro, nice to meet you!" I say while shaking his hand

I went over to a table, sat down, and began to compile a dossier of everything important to my research.

I went to the same table and took out a root beer from my pack and my Field Journal And I start taking notes.

I walk over to to Quindaro and take out a bottle of scotch and begin drinking. "Well now I'm bored."

"Hmm....Interesting" I was focused on my notes then the smell of scotch tickled my nose to the point of me sneezing "srry... sensitive nose right now..."

"Oh sorry if the smell disturbs you." I put the bottle away after taking one last sip. "I don't like doing things if it bothers anyone else.So,what bring you to this library?" I scratch the full under my neck and snip my teeth at my shoulders. "Sorry,don't worry it's not fleas I just get itchy from time to time."

I look at Gajeel "The only scotch I can drink is the kind down at the pub...." I partially close the book I was reading it was a book on quick cooking recipes on the battlefield. "Just taking notes..." I say smiling

As he closed the book I took a quick glance at the book's title.It said Quick Recipes On the Battlefield."So what's your job?Judging by the book I'm guessing you are either in the military or a mercenary,correct?"

I looked at him "Actually I hunt Rogue Vampires and sometimes I need to make food while on the job."
I put my hand on my chin "how about you, what do you do?"

"Me?I'm a mercenary.I hunt down criminals and anyone who who has done harm.Pretty much a hero for hire.You get payed quite a bit but it gets lonely.I'm thinking about quitting." I turn around and stare at the horizontal person and feel a little weirded out."What's with that guy?"

I turn "No Idea" I then look outside "Storms sure a brewin"
